Millbridge academy joined SHARE Multi-Academy Trust in April 2015.  The trust are a small, friendly partnership, currently consisting of three secondary and five primary Schools in West Yorkshire.  Our core belief is about valuing people and helping them to be as successful as they can be. 

Millbridge is part of the Northern Cluster, linked with Heaton Avenue, A SHARE Primary Academy in Cleckheaton.  As part of the cluster, we are able to share practices, initiatives and ideas to support our learning and development.

Our Director of Primary Academies, Michelle Lee has been a National Leader of Education (NLE) for a number of years and our partner school, Heaton Avenue is a National Support School (NSS) and part of the Green Light Teaching Alliance which includes a number of Secondary and Primary schools throughout Kirklees. 

This allows us to share outstanding teaching and learning, develop a more reflective teaching practice, and most importantly, improve the learning opportunities for our children through collaborative research and development of educational ideas and initiatives.
