Reception have been learning about life cycles in school and have an incubator for the next few weeks.
We’ll be keeping the chicks until they are a bit bigger and then they’ll be heading to Mr Oldfield’s (our stand-in caretaker) chicken coop in his garden!

This week we have been experimenting and had lots of fun during our Science Day. All classes had their own range of experiments, including investigated the best materials to make parachutes, ways to make ice melt and observed reactions between acids and alkalis. Key Stage one created patterns by diluting the colouring on Skittles with water.
