Guidance has changed this year for pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals - if you receive Universal Credit, you can now apply for Free School Meals and save up to £585 a year per child. Please see the leaflet attached for details of how to apply.
From September, we will be committed to being a nut free school. Please help us to make our school a safe place for those with food allergies. Please do not allow children to bring any nut products into school. Thank you.
Millbridge will be starting our FREE Breakfast Club in September. We are joining the DfE Breakfast Club Programme and will be offering a healthy breakfast for all children from Reception to Year 6. To book a place for your child, please see the leaflet attached.

We loved celebrating World Book Day on Friday. As usual, the staff got involved to help make the day even more magical!
We will be joining in Red Nose Day this year. We will be having a non-uniform day - Please wear something red or whatever is comfortable and bring in £1 donation.
We will also be having a bake sale - please bring in any cake donations.
We will be celebrating Eid in school on Monday 23rd March 2026. This will be a non-uniform day. Please come in your best party outfits.
All children will have the chance to try food on the day and join in our Eid related activities.
Mr Pleasant had the absolute pleasure of welcoming this delightful group of children to her half termly tea party. They were chosen because they have fully shown our school value of Ambition.
"I had such a lovely time with Haider, Ayaan, Dakota, Ruben, Myles, Aleeha, Freya, Oratile, Noorania and Eliza. They have shown real ambition is class recently and really pushed themselves to improve themselves.
Poppy from Reception came this time as well- she missed out on the Harmony tea party because she was poorly. I couldn’t let her miss out again!

NSPCC number day was a fun-filled day of maths, focussing on money!
Year 3 learnt how to convert pounds and pennies, and we had lots of money-related activities to practise our skills: even our own shop!
Year 2 have been creating pictures using collage on polystyrene, packed full of different shapes. The children went all in, spending lots of time designing and creating their beautiful masterpieces. The focus, creativity, and pride in their work were amazing to see.
Year 1 children have been practising logging into the school laptops this week. They have also talked about the importance of staying safe online.
Baking club has been a hit with our year 1 and year 2's this term. Check out the amazing pizzas they cooked last week.
